Caitlyn was 2.5 years old when Kristin was born. Caitlyn, who was busy enjoying all that being an only child had to offer, was quite sidelined when Kristin showed up. She responded to this by forcing Kristin to be the 'dad' whenever they played house and telling Kristin she was the only one in the family with blonde hair because she was adopted. Things have come full circle for these sisters, as Caitlyn's daughter has a personality that is remarkably similar to Kristin's....so good luck Cait! On a serious note, sisters are a special thing and no matter what live brings, Caitlyn always shows up when Kristin needs her.

Anne is Kristin's younger sister and has delighted the Wissinger household since she was born. A natural-born mediator, Anne is one of the most diplomatic people Kristin knows. She is also the most exuberant gift giver you will ever meet. She is thoughtful and encouraging and is very excited for Dan to be her brother-in-law!

Emily and Kristin first got to know each other at church camp when they were 8, although their parents have known each other for years. Emily has always been the most responsible of the group- when everyone first got their licenses, the only other teen anyone was allowed to drive with was Emily. Emily is still (usually) the voice of reason and the most ambitious one by far. She is a Physician's Assistant and currents works in LGH's ER. She is a fabulous cook, is always down for an outdoor adventure, a thoughtful gift-giver, and can always be counted on to be able to start a fire when camping.

Kristin has no recollection of when Jen and her became friends, other than it was sometime in late middle school/early high school. They just bonded one day and that was that. Jen was always hosting the friend group at her house and Kristin has spent countless hours at Jen's parents house making silly videos, watching movies, and being otherwise ridiculous in the best way. Jen is always ready with a listening ear, fantastically blunt advice, great smelling incense, and ideas of how to add more plants in your house. She is the kind of friend you can drive around just doing errands with, but still leave feeling refreshed. Kristin is now "auntie" to Jen's two daughters, Charlie and Sophie, both of whom are flower girls.

Casey is Jen's younger sister and had almost no choice but to join the friend group when they invaded Casey's house almost every weekend in high school. Casey has helped Kristin through lots of decisions, both in life and with the wedding, and her creativity knows no bounds. She and Kristin love to spend an afternoon dreaming up ideas and activities. Casey is a doer and once she sets her mind to a project, she gets it done. Kristin loves to do "craft days with auntie Kristin" with Casey's three daughters when she can. Casey's three daughters Olive, Carter, and Phoebe are flower girls.

Amanda and Kristin have known each other since childhood and have been close friends since 8th/9th-ish grade. Amanda is very talented in the singing/word department and could come up with an original musical in minutes if she ever needed. She also has an immense talent for puns and her witty banter has kept us entertained for years. Amanda is a runner and a swimmer and has inspired Kristin to push harder with her workouts. Amanda is a kind and thoughtful friend and her daughter, Evelyn is one of the flower girls.

Elliana (Ellie) is 6 and is Kristin's neice. She arrived 7 weeks early and since then, she has embraced life full-on. She loves to move and groove and is a great dancer! Ellie is always ready for an adventure. This Fall, she learned how to row a canoe and had a great time rowing around with Aunt Kristin. Ellie is independent, confident, and caring, and is planning on being a nurse like her mom when she grows up.

Cayden (9) is Kristin's oldest nephew. Cayden loves all sports but is especially intersted in football and could tell you any stat about any football player. He loves a good challenge and always gives his best no matter what he does. Don't let his love of sports fool you, however. Cayden is a great chessplayer and loves to pull out the chessboard at family gatherings. Cayden is a great big brother and keeps a watchful eye over his younger siblings and they are very lucky to have a brother like him!

Cameron (7) is Kristin's nephew. He loves telling stories and making people laugh. Cameron has lots of different interests, from sports to photography. He loves building and designing structures and has an engineer's mind. Cameron is a true middle child and is a great mediator and a thoughtful brother to his 2 siblings.
